Quinoa at its basic best is already gold - a fluffy, healthy whole grain containing protein that goes well with any dish. What makes it golden is the Real Food Kitchen touch of a white and red variety blend with 12 herbs and spices, onions, celery, carrots and an amazing light smoky paprika flavour. All of this is brought together with a vegetable stock made from scratch.

Ready to eat. Delivered frozen. 

Recommended pairings: this side pairs beautifully with Real Food Kitchen marinated and fully cooked chicken thighs like Jerk Chicken and Paprika Chicken. This pilaf is also a perfect colourful, compliment to any fresh vegetable salad, just mix it in cold and serve!

Preparation Instructions: To serve cold: Thaw and serve. To serve hot: Add 2 tbsp. of water and place in an oven proof dish, cover and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until warmed through. Alternatively, add 2 tbsp. water and warm on the stovetop on low heat, stirring frequently until heated through. Consume within 48 hours after thawing. Enjoy!

Great product. I tweaked it with my own herbs and spices and liked it even more. sometimes I add chopped veggies to it for a twist.

Yummy but a bit salty

We enjoyed this one quite a bit but might be even better with a bit less salt

Even though I did not follow the instructions properly and forgot to add water, I still liked this. Tasty and healthy. Kids were not so keen.
